Welcome to youthful 20’s. So much to do as you live a long & healthy life. Developing long term healthy habits seems like the last thing to do at this age. However doing just that would go a very long way in keeping you healthy later in life. You can start by following few of these habits:

Sleeping Well

Well, it’s the easiest thing to do! At this age we need at least 7 hours of good peaceful sleep every night for good physical & mental health. And a good sleep routine is even better.

Exercise

Doing any form of physical activity counts as exercise. You can be playing outdoor sports, swimming, going to the gym, doing yoga, cycling, running, hiking etc. But it is essential to keep yourself physically active, it doesn’t have to be intense to be beneficial.

Eat Healthy

As much as possible eat healthy. Eating healthier will reduce the chances of developing some chronic diseases like obesity, Blood pressure & diabetes later in life.

Limit alcohol & Do Not smoke

Your alcohol intake at this age will form your habits and impact your long term health so watch your consumption as it also increases the risk of accidental injury. Smoking is absolutely unhealthy so no matter what the situation do not indulge in it.

Build Meaningful Relationships

Have a strong bond with family and friends. The friends you make in this age will mostly be your lifelong friends. So take time building these relationships.
